A visit to Pietrasanta - 2

We had lunch in the main square, the Piazza Duomo, and then hiked a bit up the hill behind the town.  The sea was about a mile away, and, in the distance to the north, we could make out the islets off La Spezia and Porto Venere in the Cinque Terre.

We were back home in time to to go along to the farm for pizza and an evening of Italian-speaking only!  We marvelled at the new indoor wood-fired pizza oven.  It was huge, and the room it was in was deliciously warm!
