Visiting ...

Ron and Susi are house and dog-sitting at the moment for friends who live in a lovely house in the small village above Barga.  On Sunday, we walked up the hill to see them and have a delicious lunch al fresco.

Today is Tuesday, Ognissanti (All Saints Day) and a national holiday.  This morning we had a visit from our neighbours - Bogdanka, Dino and Filippo.  Dino deals in vintage cars, and was anxious to give us a ride in his latest acquisition, a wartime German jeep made by one of the companies which eventually became Audi.  It was quite a ride down into the centre of Barga - think Mr Toad - complete with the Parp-Parps!
